Position Overview
We are seeking a Browzwear Technical Designer / 3D Pattern Developer with strong
expertise in digital patternmaking and garment block development.
This role will be responsible for translating flat sketches, technical specifications, and
reference samples into accurate Browzwear blocks, graded patterns, and garment
simulations.
The ideal candidate has deep experience working with Browzwear VStitcher/Lotta,
understands apparel fit and grading, and can produce production-ready DXF pattern
files.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Pattern & Block Development
• Create accurate garment blocks, patterns, and hallows in Browzwear based on
flat sketches and technical specifications
• Translate design sketches into fully functional digital patterns
• Develop base blocks for multiple product categories (T-shirts, fleece, outerwear,
etc.)
• Generate graded pattern sets across size ranges
3D Garment Simulation
• Build and simulate garments in Browzwear VStitcher
• Apply fabrics, trims, and fit adjustments to ensure accurate garment visualization
• Validate fit, balance, and proportion in the 3D environment
Technical Pattern Output
• Export production-ready DXF pattern files
• Ensure patterns meet factory and vendor technical standards
• Maintain pattern accuracy for mass production
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with design, production, and technical teams
• Interpret tech packs and garment specs
• Revise patterns based on fit feedback and design adjustments
Digital Asset Management
• Maintain organized libraries of blocks, patterns, and templates
• Improve internal workflows for digital product development
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in digital patternmaking
• Strong proficiency in Browzwear (VStitcher / Lotta)
• Experience creating blocks, graded patterns, and hallows
• Ability to convert flat sketches and specs into patterns
• Experience exporting DXF pattern files
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and grading
• Knowledge of knits and woven apparel
• Experience working in apparel production or technical design
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with licensed apparel or graphic-driven collections
• Background in traditional patternmaking
• Familiarity with Gerber, Optitex, or other CAD systems
• Experience with 3D digital garment workflows
• Ability to create efficient block libraries for multiple product categories
