Commis Chef (Levels 1, 2 & 3) – Job Description
We are looking for motivated and hardworking Commis Chefs (Level 1, 2 & 3) to support daily kitchen operations. The role involves assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and working closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation and cooking as assigned
Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in work areas
Support daily kitchen operations and service
Ensure proper food storage and stock handling
Comply with food safety and health regulations
Commis Levels Overview:
Commis 1: Experienced commis capable of handling a section with minimal supervision
Commis 2: Intermediate level with good kitchen knowledge and teamwork skills
Commis 3: Entry-level position suitable for beginners or trainees
