Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Colombo for a passionate and dynamic Radio Personality. The Radio Personality will be responsible for hosting live shows, engaging effectively with a diverse audience, managing on-air content, and scripting segments. Additional responsibilities include curating music selections, interviewing guests, and representing the station at various promotional events and public appearances. Creativity, energy, and a strong connection to current trends and youth culture are essential for this role.
Qualifications
Experience in Radio, Radio Hosting, and Radio Broadcasting
Proficiency in on-air hosting, music curation, and scripting for live shows
A strong passion for Music and knowledge of the latest trends in the industry
Excellent communication skills, audience engagement abilities, and a vibrant on-air presence
Familiarity with digital and social media to interact with listeners and promote programs
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
Prior experience in a similar role or in broadcasting will be an advantage
A deep understanding of youth culture and entertainment trends in Sri Lanka
