Cafe Chef / Pastry Chef | Savoury Menu & Sweet Menu
1. Develop new recipes for seasonal menu for the cafe
2. Prepare & cook breakfast plates, sandwiches, pizza, salads, lunch, brunch items, high tea plates
3. Prepare & cook pastries, cakes, baked goods, chocolate
4. Decorate pastries, cakes, baked good, desserts, chocolate to ensure a beautiful and tasteful presentation
5. Organize pastries, baked goods, chocolate etc in the displace case in the cafe to ensure customer’s interest for a product
6. Pack pastry, baked goods, chocolate etc in the packing boxes
7. Properly handle and maintain all equipment and café interiors
8. Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
9. Discuss the details of customized orders with customers, and provide ideas for flavors, decoration & presentation
10. Make sure the work area is clean and the highest standards of hygiene are maintained
11. Monitor food storage and handling. Check ingridients freshness, quality and expiry date
12. Order supplies & manage stock
13. Maintain the food cost target
14. Help baristas prepare coffee / tea & serve customers when not occupied with cooking
15. Other relevant duties as assigned by company management and per the company’s Standard Operating Procedure.
