Nair Systems is currently looking Business Analyst – Cards & Payments for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of Cards lifecycle (debit/credit/prepaid), Merchant Acquiring, and 3D Secure flows.
• Hands-on expertise with Base24, Prime 4, MPGS, payment gateway APIs, and settlement engines.
• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL for data validation, analysis, and reconciliation reports.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 8583 message formats and card scheme mandates.
• Understanding of dispute resolution systems (Visa Resolve Online, Mastercard DDRS).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end analysis and documentation of business requirements for card issuance, merchant acquiring, POS/e-commerce transactions and settlement flows.
• Act as the SME for payment platforms including Base24, Prime, MPGS, CYBS and other card switches/payment gateways.
• Manage reconciliation and settlement processes, dispute lifecycle, and chargeback handling across Visa, Mastercard, and NAPS.
• Collaborate with internal IT, vendors, and stakeholders to design scalable solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Translate complex business problems into structured user stories, BRDs, FSDs, and process flowcharts.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment with QCB, PCI-DSS, and global card scheme mandates.
• Prepare and execute SIT plans, test scenarios, and coordinate with UAT and go-live readiness.
• Provide analytical insights to improve transaction approval rates, reduce fraud, and enhance customer experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
