Overview

Responsibilities: As a Cashier cum Sales Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions, provide change, and ensure the security of cash registers.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Sales: Actively engage with customers to promote products, provide information, and upsell when possible. Stocking: Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Operate the POS system, process sales transactions, and handle returns or exchanges.

Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting low stock items. Loss Prevention: Adhere to loss prevention procedures to prevent theft and minimize shrinkage.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Previous cashier or retail sales experience is preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.
