Overview
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Executive to join our team in Sri Lanka. The HR Executive will be responsible for managing employee administration, payroll, statutory contributions, visa applications, and recruitment coordination. This role requires excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attendance Management:
Maintain and update employee attendance records, leave balances, and related reports.
2. Payroll Administration:
Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
3. Statutory Contributions:
Handle employee contributions to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Trust Fund (ETF), ensuring timely remittance.
4. Visa & Work Permit Management:
Assist employees with visa applications and renewals, coordinating with relevant authorities.
5. Recruitment Support:
Arrange interviews, coordinate with candidates and hiring managers, and assist in onboarding new employees.
6. Employee Records:
Maintain accurate HR files, both digital and physical, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
7. HR Administration:
Provide support in HR-related queries, employee engagement activities, and other ad-hoc HR tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in HR administration or payroll processing in Sri Lanka.
3. Familiarity with Sri Lankan labor laws, EPF, ETF, and visa processes.
4. Strong organizational and time management skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.(Proficiency in Chinese will be considered an advantage)
6. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
7. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and in a team environment.
