Our client, Colombo’s premier lifestyle mall, offering an unparalleled range of shopping, entertainment, and dining options, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager.

This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to position the mall as the premier destination for shoppers. If you have a passion for marketing, a flair for creativity, and experience in the retail or shopping mall industry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the mall as a top destination for shoppers, increasing foot traffic and sales for tenants.
Create and execute marketing plans that attract, engage, and retain shoppers.
Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Organize and oversee special events, promotions, and activations within the mall to drive traffic and sales.
Plan and execute advertising campaigns across various channels including digital, print, outdoor, and social media.
Oversee the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and digital content.
Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing campaigns and events.

The Person:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
5-10 years of proven experience in marketing management and event management, preferably in the retail or shopping mall industry.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, content management, and analytics.
Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of local market trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape.

Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct regular market research and customer surveys to gather insights and improve marketing strategies.
Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and local community organizations to enhance the mall’s visibility and reputation.
Provide regular reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and campaign effectiveness to management.
