Business Development Manager

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, promoting engineering and maintenance solutions, and supporting the company’s growth objectives. This role involves regular customer visits, understanding client requirements, and coordinating with technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the engineering and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conduct customer visits to understand maintenance and operational requirements.
Promote maintenance services and engineering solutions related to utility equipment.
Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Achieve sales and business development targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
B.Sc., NDT, HNDE, NDES, or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in field activities, maintenance operations, or a related engineering environment.
Experience working with utility equipment such as boilers, heaters, compressors, chillers, pumps, and related systems will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to travel to customer locations and manage field-based activities.
Self-motivated with a strong focus on achieving business objectives.
