Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Executive to join our team in Peliyagoda. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, performing reconciliations, and supporting efficient inventory management operations. The candidate should have experience in inventory, stores, manufacturing, or FMCG environments, along with good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in Inventory, Stores, Manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Strong inventory reconciliation and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good understanding of stock control and inventory management procedures.
Ability to identify and investigate stock discrepancies and variances.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess stock, and discrepancies.
Perform regular physical stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
Investigate and report stock variances and discrepancies.
Update inventory transactions accurately in the ERP system.
Prepare inventory-related reports using MS Excel and ERP systems.
Coordinate with stores, purchasing, production, sales, and other relevant departments regarding inventory matters.
Monitor stock movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all inventory transactions.
Support periodic and annual stock audits.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and stock control processes.
Ensure inventory control procedures are followed consistently.
