About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager – HR Operations to oversee day-to-day HR functions and support the organization’s workforce through effective people management and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws, employee relations, and operational HR practices within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily HR operations to ensure smooth and efficient workforce management.
Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, and workplace investigations.
Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations.
Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
Prepare HR reports and support management with workforce planning and HR analytics.
Foster a positive work environment while promoting organizational values and culture.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the Manufacturing, FMCG, or Industrial sector.
Thorough knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws, disciplinary procedures, and HR compliance requirements.
Proven experience in handling employee relations, workplace investigations, and operational HR activities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems will be an added advantage.
