About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Assistant Manager – People & Culture to support the organization’s HR initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture. The successful candidate will play a key role in employee relations, HR operations, and ensuring compliance with labour regulations while partnering with business leaders to drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities
Support and manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple business locations.
Build and maintain positive employee relations while promoting a strong organizational culture.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations in line with company policies and labour laws.
Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan labour legislation and HR best practices.
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Partner with managers to provide HR guidance and support on people-related matters.
Coordinate learning and development initiatives to enhance employee performance.
Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for management.
Travel regularly to MCC locations to provide HR support and ensure consistent HR practices.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to employee relations and HR operations.
Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws and disciplinary procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to build effective relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
Willingness to travel frequently to MCC locations as required.
