HEAD OF HOUSEKEEPING – BOUTIQUE NATURE HOTEL, SOUTHERN SRI LANKA
We are looking for an experienced Sri Lankan woman to join our small, independently owned boutique nature hotel as Head of Housekeeping.
Our property is a peaceful, nature-based boutique hotel with a small number of high-end cabanas and glamping tents. We are a woman-owned and woman-led business and are looking for someone reliable, professional and proud of maintaining excellent hospitality standards.
What we are looking for:
– Previous housekeeping experience in a high-end hotel, boutique hotel or resort
– Experience working in the Middle East or internationally would be a strong advantage
– Excellent attention to detail and very high cleanliness standards
– Fluent spoken, written and reading English is essential
– Able to organise housekeeping duties, linen, guest-room preparation and cleaning standards
– Confident communicating with management and other staff
– Friendly, professional and comfortable around guests when required
– Previous waitress / restaurant service experience would be a major advantage
– Reliable, responsible and able to work independently
– Good references from previous employers preferred
This is a hands-on role in a small property, so we are looking for someone who is happy to take responsibility for housekeeping while also helping with guest service or restaurant duties when needed.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in luxury hotels, boutique resorts, villas or hospitality properties in Sri Lanka, the Maldives, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman or other international destinations.
