Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Quality Assurance (QA) to oversee and maintain quality and food safety standards within a food/FMCG manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of quality management systems, food safety standards, and practical experience in QA/QC operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC within the food or FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and GHP.
Knowledge or experience in BRCGS, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000 will be an advantage.
Experience in spices, seasonings, or food manufacturing is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with production and other relevant departments.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain quality assurance and food safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Implement and maintain HACCP, GMP, and GHP requirements.
Conduct inspections and monitor raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
Identify quality and food safety issues and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain accurate QA/QC records, reports, and documentation.
Support internal and external quality and food safety audits.
Monitor compliance with applicable BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and other relevant standards.
Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and quality-related incidents.
Work closely with Production, R&D, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure consistent product quality.
Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and food safety.
Conduct or coordinate relevant quality inspections, testing, and verification activities.
Provide guidance to staff on food safety, hygiene, GMP, and quality procedures.
